The Nose
A distinctly artificial blueberry aroma, leaning more towards confectionery than freshly picked fruit. Familiar, though not particularly inviting.
The Palate
The flavour follows the nose with remarkable consistency, delivering the same unmistakably synthetic blueberry character. Sweet, straightforward, and entirely devoid of surprises.
The Finish
The artificial blueberry lingers without much development. A rather uneventful conclusion to an equally unremarkable experience.
The Verdict
A limited edition with little reason to celebrate. Neither offensively bad nor particularly memorable, just thoroughly mediocre. Red Bull's Blueberry Edition has already demonstrated that this fruit deserves better treatment.

For an oddly specific point of reference, the flavour reminds me of the blueberry jam in Maxima's grainy cottage cheese. Not the cottage cheese itself, thankfully, but that particular artificial blueberry sweetness. A comparison I never expected to make in an energy drink review.
