Advertised flavor Raspberry & Pomegranate

The Nose
A bright, unmistakable raspberry aroma dominates, while the advertised pomegranate appears to have missed the appointment.
The Palate
The raspberry quickly gives way to a distinctly artificial cherry flavour. Less freshly picked fruit, more a laboratory's interpretation of it. The pomegranate remains conspicuously absent.
The Finish
A lingering synthetic cherry note, with little trace of the promised fruit duo.
The Verdict
Perfectly drinkable, but ultimately unremarkable. The label promises a harmonious fruit blend, yet the execution leaves much to be desired. Nowhere near the elegance of my beloved Monster Ultra Violet.

A raspberry-forward nose, an unexpectedly artificial cherry palate, and a missing pomegranate. The comparison with Monster Ultra Violet is admittedly a high bar, but that is precisely the point: a memorable energy drink should offer more than a convincing imitation of fruit-flavoured chemistry.
